Raven uses Stripe, Inc. as our third-party payment processor to handle all instructor payments. To receive payments through Raven, you must create a Stripe Connected Account and agree to Stripe's terms directly. Stripe is an independent company, and your relationship with them is separate from your relationship with Raven.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree to be bound by Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and Services Agreement, which govern how your payments are processed. You should read these agreements carefully as they contain important terms about payment timing, holds, verification requirements, prohibited activities, and liability. Stripe may modify these agreements from time to time, and you can review the current versions at the links provided above.

You authorise Raven to share your personal and financial information with Stripe for payment processing, identity verification, and regulatory compliance purposes. This includes your name, contact details, banking information, transaction history, and any documentation required for account verification. Stripe will also collect information directly from you and may request additional documentation to verify your identity and comply with financial regulations. Both Raven and Stripe handle your data in accordance with their respective privacy policies, which you can review at Raven's Privacy Policy and Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Payments are processed on a next-business-day basis after lesson completion and the dispute resolution period. However, Stripe may hold, delay, or cancel payouts as described in their Connected Account Agreement, including for verification, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance. You must maintain accurate banking information and complete any verification processes Stripe requires. You may also need to provide tax information to Stripe to comply with reporting requirements in your jurisdiction, as detailed in Stripe's tax documentation.

You must not use your Stripe account for any activities on Stripe's Prohibited and Restricted Businesses list. Violation of Stripe's terms may result in account suspension or termination, withheld funds, and potential termination of your Raven instructor account. Raven is not responsible for Stripe's actions, decisions, payment delays, account suspensions, or any disputes you have with Stripe, which must be resolved directly with them according to their dispute resolution procedures.

If customers dispute transactions through their card issuer, resulting in chargebacks, you may be liable for chargeback amounts and fees, which Stripe may deduct from future payouts. For more information about chargebacks and disputes, see Stripe's dispute documentation.
